Sore throat is very common. If not cared after and cured, it can develop to respiratory infections (ie. flu, coughing, bronchitis, asthma, etc). This is why a lot of people reach for sore throat remedies to dodge the worst.
Here are teas that help cure sore throat.
Ginger
It is a great germ killer to “cleanse” your body including your throat.
An Asian culinary gem, you can also have ginger drink to warm you up and alleviate some of the effects of the change in environment going into the colder season.

Throat Soother recipe
Osmanthus was regarded as an imperial herb in ancient Chinese cooking. It is very fragrant even when a small portion is used. Filtered infusion works well in desserts. Good for sore throat and scratchy voice.
Makes 1 cup
- 1 slice of lemon Honey to taste
- 1 tsp Osmanthus
- 1 cup boiling water
Directions
- Place all ingredients in a cup.
- Add hot boiling water and stir.
This is really easy to make and very good for the throat.
It makes a good refreshing morning cup too.
